La membrana "Zellaton" risale ad un brevetto del 『34 del Dott.Podzsus , prima applicazione in assoluto della tecnologia "Sandwich" alla membrana di un altoparlante(2 superfici esterne in Alluminio e nucleo strutturale cellulare). Negli anni 『50 i banda estesa del Dott.Podzsus erano usati negli array brevettati" Plural". The "Zellaton" membrane dates back to a 34 patent by Dr. Podzsus, the first ever application of the "Sandwich" technology to the membrane of a loudspeaker (2 external aluminum surfaces and cellular structural core). In the 1950s, Dr. Podzsus extended bandwidths were used in the patented "lural" arrays. In the 1970s, the 13cm and 25cm "Zellaton" membrane transducers generated the high sound quality of the famous Klein & Hummel reference Studio Monitors "OY" and "O92" at the German ARD. The most salient feature of the "Zellaton" technology is the response to transients, in some cases even superior to electrostatic systems.
