[B]台灣從黨外對抗獨裁的國民黨,解嚴,總統直選,開放黨禁與報禁,一路走到今日的民主近程,這段艱辛的歷程,唯有身歷其境的人才能體會這得來不易的民主,台灣歷經社會的變遷, 社會的矛盾與衝突,是否曾經有人想過,活在底層的社會邊緣人,他們是如何在壓力與恐懼,迷惘中討生活。四十年前的影像,有如倒帶般的在我的腦海中快速流轉,彷彿就發生在昨天,酸甜苦辣,一股莫名的傷痕,在我的胸中隱隱作痛,環視今日強敵壓境與政治亂象,我心中默禱;政客們,請挪開你的髒手,放下你的貪念,莫再迫害我的母親「台灣」！

故事由十大槍擊要犯之一的「美國博」;悲劇的人生為序曲, 以「島嶼天光」為結尾。嘗試以台灣非主流音樂人的創作歌曲為聯結,透過時光隧道,回顧當時台灣社會陰暗的面向。社會越富裕,貧富差距越大,炒房,炒地,炒股的富人們,若不能對生活在底層的人多一份關懷,執政者若不能心存慈悲對弱勢多一份照顧,這顆隱形的社會炸彈將會隨時爆發。

真正有創意的作品,往往出自於非主流的音樂人,聽聽歌曲的旋律與發人深省的歌詞,你將發現「能夠令人感動的歌,才能稱為好歌」。聽慣了美國黑人的Blues(藍調),對照「伍佰」這位藝人的演唱,你會發現「台語」這個語言的感染力,你會理解為何當時黨外的演講會場場爆滿,你也會驚訝,台語也能唱藍調,更不得不為「伍佰」的彈唱功力鼓掌。

感覺就是沒80年代工業風敲擊聲，但有工業風的曲子。
共同的都是有點迷惘感，bruce springsteen是低著頭走了， 林強通常還給人一點似有似無的希望或優傷。

林強還有王子的東西在理面，但很少人能不被王子影響，王子的體系其實很大…

《華而不實的華麗金屬》
